Why should I engage a CPA for my tax work? Can you represent me before the taxing authorities? Can't anyone prepare my taxes? Are all CPAs experienced in tax matters? What is your experience? Preparing tax returns doesn't seem all that difficult, especially with all the software and guidebooks that are available. Why shouldn't I just take care of them myself? You talk about research planning and compliance. Don't I just need someone to prepare the returns and deal with the IRS? I don't know if I need planning and advice. Why should I incur expensive fees to find out? Does your firm offer bookkeeping services?
